Meet Connie Collins

There’s nothing Connie loves more than walking alongside children, teens, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their own strength. Over the past five years, she has dedicated herself to serving youth and adolescents in her community, turning an early passion for helping others into meaningful work centered on healing, growth, and connection. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is watching clients experience those breakthrough moments, whether it’s a child gaining confidence, a teen learning to navigate overwhelming emotions, or an adult beginning to recognize their own potential. Connie is passionate about creating a safe, encouraging space where young people feel supported, understood, and empowered to heal, grow, and thrive.

What Connie says about her clinical expertise and her ideal clients…

My passion for helping others feel their best began early in life and first took shape
during my career as a hair designer. I found great fulfillment in helping people navigate
challenges while empowering them to feel confident and beautiful. Over time, I realized
that my calling extended beyond outward beauty to supporting individuals in feeling
whole and empowered both inside and out. Although the path was not always
straightforward, each step led me to where I am today. Returning to college to earn my
Master’s in Social Work was a meaningful and rewarding part of that journey.

I feel honored to work alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and
discover the best versions of themselves. Through volunteer work, I developed a deep
passion for understanding trauma and its profound impact on a person’s life. My goal is
to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, valued, and heard.
I often incorporate play, creativity, and nature into the therapeutic process, believing that
healing can occur through connection, exploration, and self-expression at any age.

Family is an important part of my life. I come from a large family and am the sixth of
seven children. My husband and I have two adult children, one grandson, and we are
excitedly awaiting the arrival of our granddaughter later this year. Being “Gigi” to my
grandson is one of my greatest joys. I have also experienced personal loss, including
the loss of loved ones, miscarriages, and stillbirths. These experiences have deepened
my compassion and understanding of the many ways people cope with grief, change,
and life’s complexities.

I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life. My ideal clients are those who are open to growth, willing to be vulnerable, and committed to the healing process. While growth often comes with challenges, I strive to walk alongside my clients every step of
the way — offering support, encouragement, honesty, and advocacy throughout their journey. Those who have worked with me often describe me as nurturing, supportive, humorous, and straightforward. I believe everyone deserves to have someone firmly in their corner.
