What Dannielle says about her clinical expertise and her ideal clients…

My clinical work and passions have been inspired by my personal and familial life
experiences. Having a parent who was a retired Navy Senior Chief, and my husband
who was a Captain in the Marine Corps, I am intimately acquainted with military and
veteran life. When I began my career, I focused on the adjudicated populations, as a
previous Corrections Officer in the state of Florida; I had already been familiar with
individuals who struggled with substance use and, therefore, were far more likely to
recidivate and/or become incarcerated than many other therapeutic populations. This
important work has led me down many paths in my career, and I am very fortunate to
find myself now with the ability to serve veterans and their families, active duty military
personnel, law enforcement officers and their families, couples, and other individuals
who are all looking for a safe place to work through any and all of life’s difficulties.

Growing up in a complicated family environment has given me a unique perspective,
where it is not difficult for me to connect with my clients who have also had a
complicated journey. I am often described by my clients as: real, funny and tough. I
prefer not to waste time that many people do not have anyway and just get down to the
business of healing. Whether your goal is to learn alternative communication styles with
your partner or spouse, process childhood, combat, work related or other trauma
experiences or you are finally ready to turn the page on a chapter of life that no longer
serves you, you deserve to feel better and experience the joys of healing”
